Porchetta
Speaking of sandwiches, this one sounds too good to be true: Sara Jenkins (of 50 Carmine fame) dispenses the porchetta variety from a tiny East Village takeout shop, beans and greens on the side. Saxelby Cheesemongers at the City Bakery
The great little American cheese shop opens a full-fledged satellite branch at the home of the pretzel croissant.
