Since 1952, music enthusiasts have enjoyed the spectacular July-September concerts at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, located on the South Shore of Long Island. After two massive renovations, this outdoor venue has nearly doubled its capacity and now seats up to 14,000 fans. Since April 2006, the venue has been officially renamed Nikon at Jones Beach Theater. The venue continues to draw top-name talent from classic rock, hip-hop and hard rock genres. Its performance history speaks volumes: The stage has hosted the likes of The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Def Leppard, The Who and Coldplay. Jones Beach Theater remains an excellent venue for concerts, as the stadium-seating makes even the nosebleed seats seem top-notch.
