Profile

Just about every successful band that has come out of NYC in the past several years has paid their dues at Mercury Lounge. This classic music venue has served as a stepping stone for New York bands such as the Strokes, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Interpol. Besides the impressive band roster, the club has a vibe that attracts hipsters from all over the city. If you need a break from the music, grab a drink in the separated narrow front barroom that allows patrons to talk without losing their voice. Always be on the lookout, you never know if the person next to you is going to be the next Julian Casablancas.
