Review

Sweet stud-muffin Michael Cera plays in a queercore band and charms a lovely girl (Kat Dennings) in this bridge-and-tunnel romance. Peter Sollett’s best film, Raising Victor Vargas, was a miracle of subtle observations and sly charm. Unfortunately, this one plays out like a bad sitcom pilot.
